I mean I get being annoyed with performance but since there aren’t flash sales anymore I just pretend the sales actually start in the afternoon.

Sadly that won’t happen, they are contractually barred from putting the tables on sale.
I told my son at lunch about the sale, and warned him that Steam was going to be pretty unresponsive for several hours, and to wait until closer to maybe 4pm or so to even try.
He goes “Why would you even tell me about it then? Tell me after you get home from work!”

It does appear about 3 or 4 sales ago Valve made a conscious decision to no longer have 75% off, the best I ever see now for stuff on my wish-list is 66%.
Not to say that’s a bad deal necessarily mind you, but it did require mental adjustment on my end because I’ve been in the habit of never buying anything until it hits 75 off.

I wouldn’t bet on it. It isn’t in the humble store. It was published by Panic, and Campo Santo is part of Valve now. I don’t expect either company would be motivated to cut a deal with humble now.
