Yeah there’s no way that drawing would stand up in court. This is a publicity stunt.
Yes and no. It certainly leans that way politically. But it was also forced to run a grovelling apology and pay millions in damages after it said that Melania had worked as an escort.
That story has to be a Trump camp plant simply because it takes such awkward pains to constantly reiterate what a fantastic lover, gentleman and all around studly/hunky manly-man Trump was (while fucking Playboy models during his fiancé’s pregnancy). That said, the number of pictures (hard-coded with date/time stamps) proving she was exactly where she claimed to be doing exactly what she claimed to be doing is pretty incontrovertible evidence of Trump’s infidelity. That would have been enough to sink a candidate prior to 2016. It will do absolutely nothing to him these days.
So that’s what Oliver Queen was doing in Star City when he was supposed to be on Lian Yu…
I’m not sure mere infidelity would have been enough to sink a candidate pre-Trump. There was a ton of Gennifer Flowers stuff floating around before the '92 election.
Gary Hart got sunk, but a lot seems to have changed since then.

The only reason to use that picture is to keep your “case” in the news. At some point the lawyer is going to stretch things a little too far, and that picture may be the start.
Maybe, but there wasn’t as much overwhelming evidence in the Clinton/Flowers story. Of course, with 20/20 hindsight it was almost certainly true, but during the campaign it could be denied more readily. Also, in Trump’s case, the fiancé was pregnant AND he’s already had the Stormy Daniels allegations and a different playmate allegations while married to Melania, making him a serial cheater which then plays to his lack of credibility on any number of fronts.
All in all, I would say had this been 2012, and all of this came out during the campaign, he’d have been sunk. Hell, even in 2016 if he’d been running against anyone other than Hillary Clinton it might have eroded support enough to hand one or two of those key swing states to his opposition and lose the election for him.
Today though, after the fact, it’s all so much winning under the #MAGA hat.
The MAGA attitude now is that wonderful sense of release you get when you’ve been told it’s okay to be an asshole. It’s okay to stop pretending to give a shit about anything.
