I guess “For the King” is coming out for all platforms. That must be something. I’ve never heard of it. And a new Life is Strange episode.
Well Retro Pixel Racers looks like it’s for me. Interested at its price though.
That’s the only thread to my wallet this week though.
For the King is a fun turn based party RPG–lite that has decent room for tactics.
Xwynn has a bunch of complete playthroughs that are entertaining and informative from last year when it released on PC.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 for the platform of my heart (PC) is pretty big.
I’m interested in this one!

Puyo Puyo Champions seems interesting. Anyone played it?
I haven’t, but: it’s pure Puyo Puyo. It’s got an assortment of classic Puyo Puyo game modes (Tsuu and Fever being the ones most players will care about) and they all play exactly how you’d expect. It’s intended primarily as a multiplayer experience - the Japanese title was Puyo Puyo eSports - and is definitely worth the $10 if you enjoy playing multiplayer Puyo Puyo.
You forgot the best thing for the entire spring… Battle Brothers DLC “Warriors of the North” coming May 9!
If you want more of a single player thing, try Puyo Puyo Tetris. Very similar, except it has more single player content - and Tetris too.
Unfortunately, Puyo Puyo Tetris isn’t available on Xbox. But I’ll keep it in mind if it ever gets released there since Champions mp oriented gameplay isn’t my cup of tea.
Oh wow, so it’s Japan-exclusive on Xbox but not on the other consoles (or PC) - bizarre. I thought Xbox was the least popular console over there. :P
Rage 2 might or might be a big wallet threat this week. As might Innocence. I’ll be keeping an eye on reviews and first impressions from fellow Qt3 denizens.

There’s a new Sonic Racing Game this week. Not mentioned is that the Germany Rally DLC comes out for DiRT Rally 2.0 tomorrow. I’ve heard the name Dauntless before, even though it’s not a genre I have interest in. Qt3 loves Slay the Spire, which comes out on PS4, again a genre I don’t follow (card games?).
